How to Eliminate Electrostatic Interference in Electronic Balance
Electronic balance is a commonly used experimental instrument in chemical laboratories. It is a precision weighing product with the most accurate weighing of light weight, the smallest range and the lowest division value, which can effectively improve the success rate of the experiment. If static electricity occurs during use, it often leads to certain errors.
There are many reasons for the generation of static electricity, mainly due to the drying of the environment and the friction of the clothes worn by the laboratory operators. So how to avoid static electricity?
Ways to eliminate the electrostatic interference in electronic balance:
1. The most direct way to avoid static electricity is to increase the humidity, and the ambient humidity is better to be about 70%.
2. If the item to be weighed has static electricity, remove it before weighing.
3. Before using the balance, the user can remove the static electricity from the operator by touching the wall with hands.
4. In addition to maintaining the humidity in the environment where the electronic balance is used, the ground wire should also be well connected, which can effectively avoid the generation of static electricity.
5. Some users use metal sample tanks to quickly eliminate static electricity. However, some users cannot choose a weighing container, and they can use special weighing chambers, such as half-height weighing chamber, special metal, weighing table, etc., which can not only eliminate static electricity but also reduces the effects of airflow.
6. Use a static eliminator to remove static electricity to ensure that the weighed items are insulated.
