Soil Water Potential Tester
soil water potential tester
Introduction of soil water potential tester:
Soil water potential is the energy required to extract a unit of water from the soil under isothermal conditions. Test unit: Bar (1 bar = 100 kPa); soil water saturation, water potential is zero; water content is lower than saturation, water potential is negative, the drier the soil, the greater the negative value. Typical plants live in the range of 0 to -15 bar (-1500 kPa). The soil water potential measurement process is not affected by various soil properties, and the results can be directly used as irrigation indicators, which overcomes the shortcomings of considering different soil properties in the soil moisture thermometer measurement process.
Soil water potential tester features:
With high accuracy and high resolution, soil temperature and water potential can be tested simultaneously.
